An LTA Advantage account (free, run by the LTA) is your child’s official UK tennis ID.
Why it matters: Without it, children can’t enter most official competitions or team events.

Set-up in 5 quick steps (2–3 minutes)
Search “LTA Advantage sign up”
Create a parent/guardian account
Add your child’s details (name, DOB)
Select LTA Advantage Play (free)
Link your club (optional, recommended)
You’ll receive a Player ID—and you’re ready to enter your first events.
First-competition tips (keep it simple)
Effort over outcome: Learning beats winning at this stage
Arrive early: 10 mins to settle, jog, mini-rallies
Same routine: Tiny warm-up + two deep breaths before first point
Great manners: Say “well played,” thank the organiser
